A Visit With the Chinook Mall Santa

No, I didn't take this picture. The good people at Take One in Chinook Mall did...well, almost--I mean I did adjust it a bit. You know me, I can't leave well enough alone. So, yesterday, we took the kids to see jolly old St. Nick. Georgia, being a shy girl, has had many hours of explaining what would happen in preparation for making this a better experience than in the past. Well, she was overwhelmed at first. The play area was manned by 'elves' who were quite friendly(which Jack LOVED). And, then when we got to the front of the line, it started. She clung to Bob's leg as the elf there started to make small talk with her. Then...she climbed up on the railing and started yelling at Santa: "Baby Alive Santa! Baby Alive!" When we took her to him, she curled herself up into a ball. There was no crying, just repeating over and over "Baby Alive, Baby Alive, Baby Alive"...I guess she wants Baby Alive for Christmas. So, here's the best we could do...

Oh...and it must be said that she refused to wear any one of her three Christmas dresses. She picked this one out because it was sparkly and she could wear her sparkly shoes with it...and, you don't even see the shoes!!! Oh well, at least Jack had a shirt that matched it. Merry Christmas! Ho! Ho! Ho! As Georgia was yelling all the way home last night!
