Babies, Bellies and Births

So, what to call this sneak peek? That is what stumped me tonight. This is, indeed, a 'belly' session. And, I do not get asked to do many of these. I'm not sure why. I would love to do more! But, this is not just any belly session. This is a belly session that is going to lead to a birth session that will lead to a baby session. Yes, you read right. I am going to photograph a birth! And, I am honored to do so. It feels to me like being invited into one of the most intimate moments in a person's life. I can't wait. Of course, I'll be the one blubbering in the corner when the baby is actually born, but as long as I can focus through the blubbering I should be fine.

So, on to the session...doesn't this little girl look like she belongs in a foreign film or something. Gorgeous!

I've been in a black and white mood lately. I love the way the denim jacket looks in black and white. What can I say?

What would a belly session be like without a little bit of skin? That is one cute little bump. I can't wait to meet the little one inside it.
