So, a couple times a year, birthday mania breaks out at this house. January is definitely one of those times(May and August are the other times)...we have so many birthday parties to attend we can hardly make room for the next piece of cake! This is one such party...a little girl, born to one of my dear friends just days before our own little princess. She had a 'Petland' party...so hard to choose what images to post as there were so many different types of pets...First, the birthday girl...

Then, the snakes and the tarantulas came out. That is the point when I left...see the look on little 'M's' face. That about sums up my own feelings. So, Bob took these...
Kids are so brave though...look at them examine the spider.
