The title of this post can easily be explained. I look at these pictures and I want to do one of three things: brush her hair into pigtails(she absolutely refuses); wash off those ridiculous tattoos(she loves them so much she almost always has at least one--I am glad to report that these photos are a little old and the tattoos are pretty much gone); and give her a giant kiss. Okay, so the last thing needs a little explanation. You see...I LOVE sushi. I mean l-o-v-e love sushi. Jump up and down and pull my hair out love it. For those who read my other blog, you are probably wagging your finger at me--sushi is neither local(in Okotoks anyways) nor organic. Well, wag away because it is a love that will never die. So, news of a fabulous sushi restaurant opening on Bob's way home from work was met with giddiness...glee...shivers really. And, yes, I know that as an 'environmentalist' it is evil of me to have take out. But, wag away because as a parent I also believe it is evil of me to bring my two small children to a nice and peaceful sushi restaurant(although, on occassion we have done just that).
So, it was on one of those occassions that we discovered that Georgia was very different from her brother in a very important way. She didn't just want to eat the Tempura...she wanted to eat the roe. Yes, Georgia shares in my love(I should really say 'our' love as Bob is almost as enthusiastic about sushi as me--except Bob is never as enthusiastic as me). Not being a fan of carbs since the day she was born(we always joke that she is on the Atkins diet), she has a very special way of eating the sushi. We do not share that in common. I do not recommend trying this at a restaurant.

Sushi feeling the effects of Georgia....

Ahhhh...look at how happy she is! A woman after my own heart.

I know these aren't technically the greatest photos you've ever seen, but I am a big believer that sometimes...those are the ones that you end up loving the most.
